I'm Michael Cronin, a Sydney-based Design Technologist with more than 15 years of experience spanning startups, agencies, large enterprises and government. My work sits at the intersection of product design, systems thinking and technology, helping organisations solve complex problems through a combination of strategic design, enterprise transformation and hands-on product development.
Alongside leading large-scale transformation initiatives, I actively design and build digital products to explore how AI and emerging technologies are changing the way products are conceived, designed and delivered. This balance of consulting and product development allows me to bring practical experience into every engagement, combining human-centred design, business strategy and technical understanding to create solutions that are both desirable and achievable.
Recent engagements include shaping Australia's Data and Digital Strategy for the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing, leading product design within NAB's Business Banking transformation, designing authenticated government services for myGov and Digital Identity, and leading Human-Centred Design across Westpac's Business Banking transformation program.
